Channel Four's Unfunny "Joke"

I've come to sadly expect pretty much anything when I switch on TV. From watching a man commit suicide in Switzerland to seeing a pig being pleasured (I kid you not), broadcasters pretty much know no bounds. I could get rid of the TV, but that wouldn't stop the programmes being shown and what's worse, people actually watching them. Keeping this in mind, I have to say that I am shocked - and this is not a word I use lightly - at Channel Four's decision to let Ahmedinejad, the vile, anti-Semitic, nuclear-crazed President of Iran deliver it's alternative Xmas message. Maybe naively, it didn't cross my mind that anyone would think of pulling this sick Xmas joke (as it's being referred to in the Media) - which. by its very nature seems to go against everything that Xmas is meant to be about. Not being a Christian, I was brought up to believe that this very day was one of peace and goodwill to all men. I cannot see how this piece of human garbage could be seen t...

Ahmadinejad's Illness

I've just read a promising news report that states Pres. Ahmadinejad is ill. Perhaps he is suffering from radiation fallout, brought about by all those visits to the Iranian nuclear facilities... Let's hope he really remembers those trips, for all of the wrong reasons.

The Hiroshima "What Ifs"

There is still a debate as to whether or not the bombing of Hiroshima on 6 th August 1945 is justifiable. In our home, we fall into two camps. Dana holds the view that there can be no reason whatsoever to kill innocent people (an argument that I can't disagree with), whilst I believe that dropping the bomb was an act that had to take place to end the war. What we both agree on, is that the bombing of Nagasaki should not have taken place. From reading some respectable research on the Internet, I see that we are not the only two people in the world who hold this view. Appropriately, historians are divided into two similar camps. I base my arguments on the notion of what might/would have happened if the atomic bomb had not been deployed over the skies of Japan. How would history have evolved had the atomic bomb stayed at home? We know that, as a result of Hiroshima, the world was plunged head first into the Atomic Age. The Soviet Union and The United States embarked on the Cold War ...

The Assassination Of Muhammed Suleiman

The Syrian general who organized the consignment of plutonium for the nuclear reactor (from the North Koreans) has been shot dead. He was also Assad's communication channel with Iran as well as acting as a Assad's contact with Hizbullah. What a guy. I know that he will be sorely missed. Particularly by any self respecting terrorist.

Get Real, Obama

There are numerous lessons from history that need to be learned. Firstly, you don't do deals with terrorists. Israel pay note. Secondly, you don't hold talks with homocidal dictators. Hitler was not someone who would be receptive to any sort of communication. He mocked Neville Chamberlain and his "peace in our time" document. If Obama honestly thinks that talking to a maniac like Ahmedinejad will stop him nuking anyone he dislikes, he must either be extraordinarily naive (which I'll give him, granted his lack of experience in the field) or plain stupid (which we know he isn't - so I'll opt for number one) Listen Barack. Listen to history. Listen to the people who know. You are wasting your time suggesting talks with Iran. Ahmadinejad will talk the talk and play the game, but he'll be laughing at you behind your back. Iran is not interested in carrots and sticks. They are hell bent on developing nuclear weapons irrespective of what anyone thinks. It...

Absolutely Breathtaking

I'm conducting a totally unscientific (but highly appropriate) experiment. I want you to put your hand up if you believe that Iran stopped it's nuclear reactor program back in 2003? You can put your hand down now-if it is raised. Please put your hand up if you think that the so-called declaration that the Iranians were no longer involved in their missile program, had less to do with concrete fact and more to do with saving the last vestiges of President Bush's rapidly diminishing credibility? Do you feel sort of silly sitting there scaring at a screen, with your hand in the air? It's OK , you're in good company. I really don't know what the Americans are up to. If they were hoping to pull off some sort of vanishing trick (e.g. the disappearance of tangible evidence that the program is no longer operational), they should have looked to aping David Copperfield, instead of the late, lamented Tommy Cooper (a British magician who had a knack of botching every trick...

The UNITED Nations? Don't Make Me Laugh

Can some please explain to me how a racist thug like Ahmadinejad can step foot on US soil? What the hell is he doing at the UN anyway? This is a man who continues to openly call for the annihilation of another member state and the deaths of millions of people, whilst developing nuclear weapons for the sole purpose of carrying out his fascist agenda. We won't even talk about how Columbia University could be so incredibly stupid as to allow him the platform to address its students. If the UN has a crumb of credibility left (UN + credibility = oxymoron if ever there was one), it should impose a statutory ban on his coming anywhere near its offices. It is absolutely disgraceful behaviour by everyone concerned.

Is 2007 the new 1938?

Am I the only one who feels pretty ambivolent about Iran's "magnanimous" gesture in letting the marines come home to the UK? Let's be honest, Ahmadinejad, a tinpot ruler if ever there was one, has humiliated the once mighty Kingdom of the Disunited, in front of the world's media. His generous "gift" to the British people is nothing but an calculated and ultimately successful operation, whose sole purpose has been to cruelly mock Britain before the world's eyes. As much as I am genuninly glad that these young soldiers have been returned to their families, I do wonder what price this country will pay for their return. Talking of which, I have yet to see Gilad Shalit and his co-soldiers being embraced into the bosoms of their mothers. Will Ahmadinejad, in his oh so generous mood, give out more goodies to the our? I doubt it. When I heard the news that Il Presidente had released the soldiers in such a manner, my blood chilled. I immediately thought of th...

It's About Time

It looks like the world is finally waking up to the Iranian threat, if the latest news about the UN sanctions is anything to go by. Iran is also burning her bridges by holding onto sixteen British marines, although I think this little skirmish will be dealt with quietly over the next few days/weeks. More importantly, the message is going through to the Iranians that no-one with any sense believes their laughable reasoning for building nuclear power stations. Additionally, the withdrawal of the Russians has left Iran in a pretty vulnerable position. Let's see what the Chinese do next. I wonder - is this the beginning of the end for Ahmadinejad?

Guess Who?

This is the scenario: You've got this guy in Iran who has a real problem with the Jews. He hates them and wants to wipe them off the planet. So he's devising this plan to get his way. First of all, he tries to curry favour with his powerful friends to get their support and establish his credentials. Then, he sets about building his weapon, hoping that it will be used as soon as possible to achieve his goal. Sounds familiar? Well, it is, except that I'm talking about President Haman of Persia, who lived, oh about two thousand five hundred years ago or so. Today is the Fast of Esther when we remember how Queen Esther of the eponymous book put her life of the line to protect our people. I am fasting, if only to beg G-d to do his thing and untangle the workings of the modern day Haman in Iran - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The similarities between these two monsters is striking, both in their utter hatred of the Jews (compare Ahmadinejad's claims that that we made the Holocaust up ...

Iraq - An Interesting Viewpoint

Remember about that party I told you about two posts ago? Well, before the mother of all headaches burst its way into my cerebellum, I was having a really interesting conversation with an expatriate Iraqi Jew, who has been in the UK for seven years. He is convinced that the real reason why the Americans and British are staying in Iraq, is to use the country as a launch pad for an attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities. I was thinking about this and came to the conclusion that he might have a point. It would certainly make a lot of sense, granted that both countries (and most of the rest of the world, including quite a few Sunni Arab dictatorships) have no interest whatsoever in seeing Shiite Iran go nuclear. In fact, the recent declaration by Egypt et al that they want to acquire such weapons (presumably to counter the Iranian threat) seems all the more understandable, granted the danger that a nuclear Iran would pose to the region - and for that matter, the rest of the world. I th...

I Feel Much Better Now

Ahmadinejad said yesterday: "Today, it is the United States, Britain and the Zionist regime which are doomed to disappear as they have moved far away from the teachings of God." I can't tell you how much better that makes me feel. If his understanding of the 'teachings of G-d' are that you should build nuclear weapons, actively support terrorism and deny the Holocaust, I'm more than happy to subscribe to any religion aside from his. However, at least we Zionists are now in good company. People of the US and UK - welcome to our club!

The Miracle of Chanukah

The wonderful Jewish festival of Chanukah will be starting tomorrow night. More than two thousand three hundred years ago, another meglomaniac called Antiochus tried to wipe us out. The Hasmonean boys told him where to go and despite all odds, we rescued Jerusalem from his clutches. The temple was ours and Chanukah was born. Antiochus also wanted to "wipe us off the face of the earth" through trying to force us to take on his alien (Greek/Syrian) practices. Surprise surprise, he failed. Some things never change and if Ahmedinejad thinks he can succeed where so many others have failed, maybe he should stop organising moronic conferences and start researching the fate of his predecessors. Hitler didn't manage to finish us off, concentration camps and all. My Chanukah message to him and anyone else who thinks he can "wipe Israel off the face of the earth" is this - go read your history books. Happy Chanukah dear friends - as the old song goes, we will survive. We...

The Role Of Holocaust Denial In The Ideology And Strategy Of The Iranian Regime

By Yigal Carmon, President of the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Today, December 14, 2006, a symposium titled "Holocaust Denial: Paving the Way to Genocide" was held at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. MEMRI President and Founder Yigal Carmon spoke at the symposium. To view Iranian Holocaust denial clips, please click here. The following are his remarks: The persistent Holocaust denial of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad raises a vital question that needs to be addressed: What function does this denial serve in the ideology of the Iranian regime and in its strategy? The answer to this question bears cardinal importance to the future of the State of Israel. When we, at The Middle East Media Research Institute, collect and analyze the statements made by Ahmadinejad and others in the Iranian regime, we can distinguish two major goals, both of which lead to the same conclusion: the Iranian regime's Holocaust denial is not a manifestation of irrational hatred, but ...

Letter To The Iranian Embassies

I have sent this email to the numerous Iranian Embassies dotted around the world. "Dear Sir, My grandmother lost virtually every single member of her family in the Holocaust. I am therefore appalled to read that Iran, a country with a notable history of tolerance and acceptance of all nations should be hosting a "conference" which gives a platform to some of the most anti-semitic and racist human beings on the planet. I wish that the Holocaust had not taken place. I wish that over six million people had not simply vanished between the years of 1939 and 1945. I wish that one and half million children had been given the chance to grow up and contribute to the world, instead of being murdered - simply because they born Jewish. You are an Ambassador for your country. You have a duty to present your country in the best possible light. I therefore ask you to do everything in your power to educate yourself and your countrymen in what really happened during World War II. Go to A...

Kick Them Out II

You won't be surprised to read that I'm not the only who feels disgusted by the behaviour of these so called "Jews". Have a look at this piece from the Totally Jewish website: One of the most senior members of religious anti-zionist sect Neturei Karta was this week facing total isolation from the Jewish community after attending Iran's Holocaust conference. Manchester-based Rabbi Ahron Cohen has long courted controversy as the mouthpiece of the British arm of Neturei Karta, appearing alongside controversial figures considered to be enemies of the Jewish people. But anger in Manchester reached fever pitch this week after it emerged he had visited the internationally-condemned meeting in Tehran. Indeed, feelings were running so high that the Manchester Beth Din issued a statement on Tuesday condemning Rabbi Cohen’s involvement and questioning his status as a rabbi. The statement said: "'Rabbi' Ahron Cohen has for a long time been ostracised by the vast...

Kick Them Out

The presence of "orthodox" Jews at the Tehran Holocaust Conference makes me sick to the stomach. These men are a disgrace to everything that our nation stands for and believes in and most importantly, by allying themselves with a bunch of neo-Nazis and Islamic extremists, they totally violate the memory of every single Jewish person who died in the Nazi genocide. If I ever have the misfortune to meet these ghastly pieces of shit, I will spit in their vile faces and do everything in my power to ensure that they were excluded from every single Jewish gathering that they wished to attend, including counting them in as members of a Minyan (a quorum of ten males over 13 required to make up a prayer congregation). They should be immediately ex-communicated and buried in a separate plot - if at all. For all I care, their bodies can rot in the street. They are not worthy of calling themselves members of the Jewish people. Let's kick them out!

Meanwhile, Back In Downtown Tehran...

Anti-Semites head for Iran to query Holocaust By Colin Freeman, Chief Foreign Correspondent, Sunday Telegraph President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran is to give a personal audience to a delegation of foreign academics – including Britons – attending a Teheran conference that will question whether the Holocaust took place. President Ahmadinejad will welcome delegates. The two-day "Review of the Holocaust: global vision" conference, which begins tomorrow, is expected to include more than 60 foreign researchers from 30 countries, including known anti-Semites and Holocaust deniers. Ahmadinejad has caused international outrage by describing the Holocaust as a "myth" and calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map". Despite condemnation of Teheran for hosting the conference, foreign delegates arriving in the capital have said that they are hopeful of a personal meeting with the Iranian president. Fredrick Toben, a German-born Holocaust denier who lives in Austral...

The Glowing North

Is anyone out there not worried about the latest news from North Korea? More importantly, is there anything at all we can do about it? These are scary times. Iran, without a doubt, looked on with glee as North Korea allegedly fired its first nuclear missile (or maybe not, if you believe the latest from CNN) - in the face of world opposition. What the UN Security Council does next is therefore crucial to how our futures will be shaped. North Korea must, and I repeat must be severely penalised for carrying out this terrifying act (irrespective of the outcome). Whether this takes the form of even more sanctions, or indeed military action (in whatever shape), the West cannot let the NK's get away with this act. If we cowtow to them, we are giving the message that rogue states can operate in any way they wish, irrespective of how dangerous their actions might be. Hamanejad...take note.
